University of New Haven (UNH) AACSB-Accredited Online MBA Programs

The University of New Haven (UNH) offers a 100 percent online Master of Business Administration (MBA) program through the Pompea College of Business with a general track or one of three online concentrations: data analytics, global supply chain management, and business analytics. The degree can be completed in about 18 to 24 months. There are no on-site requirements and no work experience is required.

The data analytics concentration is a Science, Engineering, Technology, and Math (STEM) designated concentration, preparing graduates for big-data analytics. These students learn to analyze organizational data in order to create innovation and improve business operations and outcomes. Data may come from multiple sources such as human resource management, marketing, and finance, and students learn the R-programming language. Key courses include business forecasting, knowledge management, and mining for business intelligence.

In the global supply chain management concentration, students will learn the skills necessary to increase business profits and efficiency, becoming collaborative, corporate thinkers. Graduates will be prepared for leadership roles in international business arenas. Key courses include managing in global markets and operations management.

The business analytics concentration prepares graduates for data-driven marketing, business forecasting, and financial econometrics. Students will learn to analyze and interpret data in order to predict buyer behavior and make key business decisions. A key outcome of this concentration is the ability to analyze data related to a research question using economic forecasting tools. Key courses include digital marketing strategy and business forecasting.

Courses last seven weeks each and start dates land in January, May, and August. The program can follow a cohort or be completed according to the needs of each student. Both part-time and full-time study options are offered. Students typically complete the program in 18 to 24 months but have up to five years to complete it.

Graduates of the general MBA and data analytics, global supply chain management, and business analytics concentrations may go on to positions such as marketing manager, logistics director, senior data analyst, global supply chain manager, financial analyst, operations research analyst, computer systems analyst, management analyst, operations manager, and information technology (IT) consultant.
