Rasmussen University Online MBA Program
Rasmussen University’s School of Business offers a 100 percent online MBA that can be completed in as few as 18 months. Through Competency-Based Education (CBE), the flexible MBA offers modules that students can complete at their own pace, meeting defined competencies through real-world projects. The courses are eligible for financial aid for qualified applicants, and students earn a grade for each completed course.
The 11-week CBE courses are led by faculty members and delivered through an online platform. Course projects allow students to apply what they learn to a real-world challenge or scenario. Faculty support includes personal interaction, feedback on completed work, and availability to answer questions and offer guidance. In addition, students have access to student success coaches and advisors.
Start dates are offered four times per year in fall, winter, spring, and summer. Students set their own pace, choosing the amount of time to dedicate to proving their proficiency, however, all work must be completed for each course by the 11 week deadline. In addition, up to 20% of the MBA program can be completed through the transfer of qualified Master’s level credits (up to 9 credits). The Rasmussen MBA is offered in all states except Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island.
Courses for the online MBA focus on accounting, financial analysis, corporate responsibility, sustainability, operations management, marketing, strategic planning, organizational behavior, professional growth, and leadership. Throughout the courses, students learn six transferable skills including:
