The school’s mission is to prepare global leaders of diverse backgrounds, integrate ethical and innovative business practices with technology, advance interdisciplinary research in the field, and promote economic and community development in the region.

NJIT’s online MBA is designed for business professionals seeking technical expertise and advanced management skills to further their careers and meet their entrepreneurial goals.

Online platforms such as Moodle and other technological tools are used for the presentation of course materials, assignments, and assessments, as well as for discussion and communication among teachers and students. Like in-person instruction, online courses are facilitated by a faculty expert; use textbooks and audiovisual presentation of content; and require homework, participation, and examinations.
