Florida Tech Online Master of Business Administration (MBA)
The Florida Institute of Technology (FIT; Florida Tech) was founded in 1958 as Brevard Engineering College. Jerome P. Keuper, a physicist working at Cape Canaveral, first developed the idea for the college. Florida Tech’s mission is to develop global thinkers, problem solvers, and future leaders to advance knowledge and improve the human condition. Core values guide Florida Tech programs focused on academic excellence, accessible, inclusive and immersive student-centered education, leadership, and boundary-breaking innovation.
The Florida Tech Nathan M. Bisk College of Business offers an online master of business administration (MBA) program with ten specializations: accounting, accounting and finance, cybersecurity, finance, healthcare management, information technology management, management, marketing, project management, and project management in information technology (IT). This large variety of specializations makes the Florida Tech MBA program appealing to a large student body who, upon graduation, go on to fulfill FIT’s ambitious vision in a multitude of ways.
Florida Tech is accredited by the Southern Association of College and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate’s, baccalaureate, master’s, education specialist, and doctoral degrees. Florida Tech’s College of Business is accredited by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE).
What to Expect from Florida Tech Online MBA Programs
Admission Requirements: Applicants must submit an online application accompanied by official documentation of high school graduation or award of a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) if they are applying with less than 24 semester credit hours completed at an accredited institution. Applicants must also submit official transcripts of all accredited colleges and universities they have attended or are presently attending.
Furthermore, applicants must also submit official records if they have completed CLEP/Advanced Placement exams, GED college-level examinations, and/or DANTES, USAFI examinations, Regent Standardized Examinations or other advanced placement examinations. Credit hours earned from accredited schools are automatically evaluated for potential use as transfer hours as part of the formal application process. For coursework to be deemed potentially eligible for transfer, a student must have had a grade of C- or better in the course. No application fee is required to apply.
The aforementioned requirements are identical across all ten MBA specializations. Because admissions requirements are subject to change, it is recommended that all prospective applicants contact a student services representative to verify current admission requirements.

An approved agency must evaluate academic credit earned outside the United States. English language proficiency may be demonstrated via testing provided by many testing providers.
